Activation & Device Binding

3.1 Activation

Sign in to your account at https://www.tiaopenessmanager.ch (e-mail and one-time code)
Buy the licence or start the trial
Sign in with the same account in TIA Openness Manager MCP
The device is bound automatically on first sign-in
Every tool is unlocked

3.2 Licence check

TIA Openness Manager MCP checks the licence with the licence server at regular intervals, so it needs an internet connection from time to time
Licence responses are digitally signed; a changed or forged response is rejected
Your TIA Portal projects never leave your workstation for the licence check

3.3 Device binding

A licence is bound to one device at a time
To move it to a new device, release the old one in your account under /profile
Releases are limited per 30 days as protection against licence sharing; for more, contact support@tiaopenessmanager.ch

Subscription Management

4.1 Automatic renewal

The subscription renews every month
Billing is processed through Stripe
Cancellation possible at any time

4.2 Cancellation

In your account:

Sign in at /profile
Open the subscription management
Cancel the subscription

After cancellation:

The licence stays active until the end of the paid month
After that the tools are locked
Your projects and settings are preserved
You can subscribe again at any time

4.3 Payment method and invoices

The payment method and the invoices are managed in the subscription management of your account under /profile. There is one plan, so there is nothing to switch.

5. No organisations or seats

The licence belongs to one person and one device. There are no organisations, no seats and no volume licences for TIA Openness Manager MCP. Each user needs their own licence.

6. Restrictions & prohibitions

The licensee may not:

Use the licence on multiple devices simultaneously
Transfer the licence to third parties
Manipulate or falsify the device binding
Bypass or disable the licence check
Share account credentials

In case of misuse:

Immediate licence suspension
No refund
Legal action possible

7. Refund policy

No refund for a running month
Cancellation stops future charges
Access until the end of the paid month
